Moncler gets listed as one of most sustainable brands
Moncler has been unveiled as one of the world’s most sustainable brands for the third year in a row, according to the s&p global corporate sustainability assessment 2021.
The italian luxury label, which obtained the highest score out of the textiles, apparel and luxury goods’ industry, has been reporting on its sustainability performances and targets each year, and even presented its new strategic sustainability plan ‘moncler born to protect’ project in 2020.
“if I look back and think about every single person’s commitment at moncler, I believe we’ve done a lot in these years to integrate sustainability in our business model,” comments remo ruffini, moncler’s ceo. “if I look ahead to the urgent social and environmental challenges, I realize that we need to gear up. Young generations are disillusioned and keep reminding us that the time of words has now ended and there is only room left for action”.
Assessed by s&p global in line with the dow jones sustainability index, a gold standard for corporate sustainability at a worldwide level and a trusted reference standard for investors, the index ranks the leading sustainability-driven companies based on economic, environmental and social responsibility criteria.
